Personality: If anything Toni is more stubborn and argumentative than her male counterpart. It comes from being a woman in what was and is overwhelmingly a man's profession; from proving that a teenage girl can and will graduate from MIT at the top of her class, that a female CEO can and will head the most successful and innovative arms manufacturer in the country.
It's made her more driven and less inclined to end up plastered all over the tabloids; she likes a drink as much as the next AU!Tony, but being photographed sloppy drunk by the paparazzi is absolutely not her thing. Don't be misled, she very much believes in the maxim "work hard and party harder". She just does actually have some conception of what 'discretion' means.
Having her competence questioned drives her wild and she will go to incredible lengths to do pretty much anything someone has said she can't.
History: From earliest childhood, anyone who ever thought Toni - and it was always Toni, she stopped answering to 'Antonia' when she was about four - was going to be anything other than an engineer was deluding themselves. Dolls were roundly ignored in favor of building blocks and toy cars. Howard encouraged her. Perhaps she wasn't the son he'd wanted, but she didn't show any intention of letting that slow her down.
She attended MIT and graduated at the top of her class with a double major in electrical and mechanical engineering, overcoming all obstacles in her way by sheer force of stubbornness. After graduation she went into the family business, taking a position in the R&D department of Stark Industries. Anyone who thought she had got the job over more deserving candidates purely because she was the boss' daughter was soon eating their words.

Toni kept the lid on her identity for longer than Tony did; long enough for 'Iron Man' to stick. The armor is fairly unisex, after all, and for some reason the papers just sort of assumed the wearer was male. Toni finds it kind of hilarious and quite enjoys being Iron Man.

tl;dr:- The biggest differences between Toni and Tony are mostly that she had a better relationship with Howard, and has less of a reputation as a 'playboy' and more of one as a ruthless businessperson. (Basically, the go-to insult would be more likely to be "bitch" than "slut")
